stop motion

On Wednesday 21st, we did a mini project, where we created a stop motion animation using clay. This was something very interesting to do, as it was nice to test knew mediums that aren't physical or on paper. I have had previous experience using stop motion, so i knew all about i and how time consuming it is to get the desired effect. It takes countless frames and tiny movements to make the final video appear smooth and realistic . This is exactly what we did, using tiny movements to make our video look smooth, and loads of frames being shot, even though the final result would probably last a couple of seconds.

This would be something very interesting to take into the future, as consider as a medium to use for a final piece, or some form of development in the project. I think however that i would bring in a lot more things that just the clay, bringing more colour and objects into it, depending on what the project is.
