eXPERIMENMTAL We began by going out into town to collect different mediums, and to take photos of several textures. The purpose of this was to gather resources for a collage we were making. It had to include many different textures and objects, both natural (such as leafs and flowers) and then fabrics and other things that were in the art studio. I tried to contrast the bright soft colour of the plants and leafs with quite bland black coloured objects like cardboard, and then a lacy pattern for the background. I began by glueing the lace over the cardboard, then glueing the cardboard to the frame, which i used to add 3D elements to the piece. I then wrapped the warning tape around the frame (this was used as symbolism for the dangers of global warming, and how we effect nature is a negative way - shown through he dark surrounding colours of the background). Next i punched holes into the warning tape, and put some of the flowers into he holes. I also put the flowers into the frame...
